Natural wood, Classical technique:
Glued, primed, sanded, sized, gilded. Hand-painted with egg tempera. Waxed and polished. (Varnished and sealed.)
Exclusively superb high-quality products for iconography have been used.
Technically, the icon is performed in accordance with the Byzantine Orthodox iconographic tradition. Exactly the same ancient materials and tools were used. Specifically, a slightly more modern version of the Eastern Orthodox depiction is presented.
