     Original artworks. Signature on the back of each painting by Vanya Savov. 
     10 canvas panels. Each piece measures 10.2 x 10.2 cm / 4.0 x 4.0 inches and will be beautifully framed in solid wood frame measuring 20 x 20 cm / 8 x 8 inches (approx.), with a depth of 4.5 cm / 1.8 in., once fully dry. 
     "Bogs of Roscommon" is a series of 10 abstract, minimalist miniatures that speak for themselves. Inspired by personal memories, they evoke a sense of serenity and contemplation. My daughter saw in them the stamped patterns of her childhood bed sheets left behind in Bulgaria, while for me, they recall the art I was exposed to as a child in the art stores of the Union of Bulgarian Artists in the 1980s. I had to ride around  county Roscommon to remember this. The subdued, gloomy colours and minimalist style invite mindfulness, creating a quiet space for reflection and introspection.
     These original artworks were painted in Galway, Ireland.
     When you purchase my paintings, you acquire unique works of art, as each one is a singular creation.
